I am Graeme Clark and I am the Director of Health and Safety Services at cdmm.
Born in Inverness where I served an electrical apprenticeship and I have returned after following a career in Airport Operations at Aberdeen and Heathrow.
I live in Cawdor where I run a smallholding and enjoy the practical side of farming.
It’s the practical style of health and safety advice that comes from understanding the contractors side of the business that I particularly enjoy delivering.
Hi I’m Graeme and I live on the Black Isle with my wife Sophie and my two children.
I came to health and safety from a background in contracting. Work started taking me more towards rail, power and construction projects and I found myself dealing with the enhanced health and safety requirements of these industries. This led to my completion of a NEBOSH certificate and diploma in health and safety.
As I consultant I remember what it was like being the contractor faced with confusing new requirements, and try to deliver the help I would have wanted back then.
Hello, I am Chris, I was born and raised in Inverness where I live with my wife Lauren and my children Sophie and Charlie.
I previously worked in the oil and gas industry where I carried out Non-Destructive Testing and reporting on welds and pipelines. It was whilst in this industry I first came across the peril of a lazy health and safety attitude, as I suffered a workplace accident. After recovering from my accident I moved into quarrying carrying out various roles and developed a greater knowledge of quarry operations and how they were applied in construction, before moving into the aquaculture sector.
Due to my misfortune I had always had a desire to study health and safety with the view of utilising it as a career to help and prevent others from the risk of receiving workplace injuries. During the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic I used the time to obtain my Nebosh General Certificate and take my first steps into a Health and Safety Role here at CDMM.
