The project was completed to Programme and on budget and we were delighted to receive a personal note on behalf of all at the Portrait of the Nation acknowledging and thanking us warmly for all our dedicated work at the Portrait Gallery over the past many months.

Abbotsford Trust Redevelopment Project – May 2011
In January of 2011, we successfully tendered through Public Contracts Scotland and were awarded a two year contract for the Clerk of Works Service for the provision of a new visitors centre at Sir Walter Scott’s ancestral home, Abbotsford House.

The new Visitors Centre will contain part of Scott’s life achievements within the Exhibition Centre and Restaurant, the main redevelopment including the conservation and refurbishment of the internal and external fabric to the original wing of the house will continue to house historic apartments and will provide a 5 Star Self Catering Accommodations

Banff & Buchan College, Fraserburgh - June 2010
Cdmm(UK)Ltd were awarded in June 2010 a contract to provide Clerk of Works and BSI Services on the Banff & Buchan Technical College in Fraserburgh. We have in the past been involved in a number of educational facilities where renovations to the existing buildings and new build elements are run concurrently and require to be completed to allow the new student influx and for the faculties to run their educational courses without interruption.

This project enhances our existing educational portfolio which has seen over the past 10 years the following projects completed.

Asbestos Survey Provision - 10th November 2009
cdmm (UK) Ltd now carry out Asbestos Surveys throughout Scotland. Our team members who have been trained under the British Occupational Health Society facility will undertake renovation; demolition or continued management surveys that will fully comply with the Health & Safety Regulations.

To date we have carried out surveys for Developers,Local Authorities and numerous private individuals.

This service is totally independent of any Asbestos Removal Company.

Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh - 20th October 2009
cdmm (UK) Ltd have been awarded the Clerk of Works position on the refurbishment of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh. The project has a value of £10.5 million and a contract period of 72 weeks with high level of finish required on this prestigious listed building, the works include the fitting of a mezzanine floor, new lift and ramps to allow fuller access throughout the building.

New Dental Teaching and Training Facility Centre, Perth (20th April 2009)
cdmm (UK) Ltd today have been awarded a contract to carry out building inspector services throughout the construction phase of a new dental teaching and training facility. The contract valuation is estimated at £4m.

New £43m Hotel and Office Development, Aberdeen (26th January 2009)
cdmm (UK) Ltd has today been awarded a contract to carry out building inspector services throughout the construction of a new hotel and office development in the centre of Aberdeen. The hotel creates 185 bedrooms plus all associated public and service facilities. The total office floor area (gross) will be around 13,000m2. This is a significant building, but it is a new part of the dense urban centre of Scotland’s third largest city, one which has major international connections particularly related to the oil industry.

New Bird Observatory, Fair Isles (2nd January 2009)
cdmm (UK) Ltd today have been awarded a contract to carry out building services design and CDM-c services for a new £4m bird observatory building on the Fair Isles . The building will be constructed off site and shipped to the Island as pods. The building envelope will be constructed using the award winning innovative product, Energyflo™ cell, for use in Dynamic Breathing Building (DBB) systems. Photovoltaics; heat pumps and lighting controls will be installed to further assist energy consumption. Construction is due to start in July 2009 with a completion date early 2010

New Brewery Building, Aviemore (15th December 2008)
cdmm (UK) Ltd today have been awarded a contract to carry out building services design and CDM-c services for a new brewery building in Aviemore for Cairngorm Brewery Co Ltd. Construction is due to start in July 2009 with a completion date early 2010

EPC Contract for the Northern Constabulary (8th December 2008)
cdmm (UK) Ltd today have been awarded a contract to carry out a low carbon consultancy service to provide energy performance certificates for all the Northern Constabulary building stock.

New Dental and Training Facility, Elgin (13th October 2008)
cdmm (UK) Ltd today have been awarded a contract to carry out building services consultancy service for the construction of a new dental and training facility for NHS Grampian in Elgin. Construction is due to start in early 2009 with completion in August 2009.

EPC Contract for The Highland Council (6th October 2008)
cdmm (UK) Ltd today have been awarded a contract to carry out a low carbon consultancy service to provide energy performance certificates for buildings within The Highland Council’s building stock.

Hospital and Health Centre, Forres [ 19th May 2008 ]
CDMM(UK)Ltd has been awarded a contract by NHS Grampian, to provide CDM Co-ordinator services for the new build development of an £10m Hospital and Health Centre in Forres, Morayshire. The project is due for completion in 2010. The lead consultant for this project is Keppie Design.

Day Services Unit for Raigmore Hospital [ 16th January 2008 ]
CDMM(UK)Ltd has been awarded a contract by NHS Highland, to provide CDM Co-ordinator services for the new build development of an £18m Day Services Unit at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. Due to open in 2010, the unit will also house specialist renal and endoscopy departments. The lead consultant for this project is Keppie Design.
